De Beuk Erin / Smash it up! – Exhibition at the Mondriaanhuis, Amersfoort (2016)
From February 14 to May 29, 2016, the Mondriaanhuis in Amersfoort hosted an exhibition organized by TADA-projects. The show brought together six artists: Koen Taselaar, Marjolijn de Wit, Christian Gode, Klaas Kloosterboer, Jasper van der Graaf, and Jeroen Glas. The exhibition explored the theme of destruction and creation in art, with each artist presenting their own interpretation of breaking down and rebuilding, resulting in a diverse range of works and approaches.
In this context, Jasper van der Graaf contributed with a 900 cm bright red wall painting.
The show offered visitors a unique perspective on how contemporary artists engage with the tension between destruction and creation, demonstrating how these processes can lead to innovative art forms.
